Barnes Brinkcraft is a family run business, offering Boating Holidays, Self-Catering Holiday Properties and Day Boats.
We run a mixed fleet of boats to suit our customers' requirements and now have over 90 boats. We have the most modern and up to date hire craft with some amazing features. We also have traditional broads hire boats that have been known and loved for many years. Our boats, or cruisers, range in size from 2 berth right through to 12 berth. We also have 15 riverside self-catering properties, sleeping between 4 and 16 people. They even come with their own day boat to help you explore the broads.
The boats and holiday cottages are specifically designed, built or chosen by Barnes Brinkcraft to help you make the most of the Norfolk Broads National Park. Please use the guides on our website or contact our knowledgeable booking team on 01603 782625 to help you choose the right boat or holiday.
If you are looking for a little on-board luxury our Elite Fleet of cruisers may be just what you are looking for. These boats have some 'mod cons' not normally associated with boating holidays. The Elite Fleet boats are provided with a welcome pack and a bottle of Cava to start your holiday off in style. They come with great complimentary toiletries in case you forgot to pack the soap. In addition, towels and 2 outside parking spaces are included, as well as mobile Wi-Fi fitted on board.
If you are visiting Wroxham for a short period and want to get on the water, we have a day boat site. We hire out boats and canoes to suit families and fishermen from Easter to end October. These can be hired out from an hour to a day.
Whatever the type of holiday accommodation you choose, Barnes Brinkcraft is very happy for you to bring your pets with you. We even provide Dog Life Jackets.
We've been running our boatyard in Wroxham on the Norfolk Broads for more than 40 years. In January 2017 we incorporated Royalls Boatyard with all their hire boats, and in the Autumn of the same year acquired the Alphacraft Cruisers from Brundall.

Waterside Self-catering Accommodation

We have a number of apartments and cottages on the Norfolk Broads and they come with Day Boats to enable you to explore the Broads without staying on the boat overnight. You won't be able to go as far as you could if you rented a Cruiser, but you get to sleep on land each night.

We have a range of boats that include sleeping births for 2 to 12 people so we can accommodate large and small parties. By sleeping on board you do not have to come back to Wroxham each night and we can help you to plan a multi-day route to take in the best of the Broads. Pets are welcome and we even supply life jackets for them (as well as for your children of course).
