I'm Terry McGinn, owner of Barrowford Stress Clinic, in Nelson, Lancashire, and a specialist in counselling, psychotherapy, and hypnotherapy. My services are available to all clients who suffer from panic attacks, relationship problems, IBS, weight loss issues and fear of flying. I have been assisting clients for more than 30 years, and take great pride in helping them overcome their problems and improve their lives. In my previous employment I worked as a health visitor across East Lancashire, a role which helped develop my skills with patients.

About Me

I have been practicing in Barrowford for over thirty years in Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and Counselling. I employ whichever approach is appropriate to the problem. I have has also worked as a Health Visitor in that time across East Lancashire I have a particular interest in Panic Attacks and also deal with relationship problems, phobias, eating disorders, stopping smoking, anger management and psycho-somatic conditions. I subscribe to the code of practice, confidentiality and public liability insurance policies of the National Register of Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists.

Panic attacks can affect anyone, and are often very disabling. I use techniques to help my clients manage the fear in such a way that they overcome this entirely. You will be provided with an audio tape which features help on how to handle panic attacks. By the end of my treatment your panic attacks will have been abolished, and you will have a better understanding of how to manage your emotions.
