Young people's employment, training & enterprise centre.

Base 87 is a Community Interest Company nestled in the heart of Blurton, Stoke, aimed at providing our community with the educational resources and support to enable young people to gain employability skills and self confidence.

We have a heavily populated job's board, with a variety of full time and part time hours, in various fields of expertise.
We welcome walk-in clients, so if you'd like to check out our board then by all means, come along (we'll even offer you tea and/or coffee).

We offer a comprehensive service revolving around CV building. We can provide you with help in constructing it, knowing what to put on it and how to present it. We're here to get you noticed and to get you that all-important interview.

We also run what we're calling "Employment Action" for young people. This is every Wednesday and runs from 9:00am to 12:00 noon and it's objective is to help you:

a) Find work by assisting you with your job search,

b) Design the CV that's right for you,

c) Get than hang of tricky paperwork,

d) Gain skills that will help you find employment and keep it.
