New build

We recently bought a new build home by Beaumont West Ltd. The quality of workmanship leaves much to be desired, after sales service virtually non existant. Their installed kitchen had to be removed and replaced at our expense because of poor workmanship and lack of planning. The guttering was installed draining away from the downpipes, causing waterfalls over the house, these are just a sample of defects. A sedum roof installed over the garage, inspected by the supplier, who confirmed our worst fears that the whole lot had been installed incorrectly, not even the waterproofong underneath was correctly installed. When this report was sent to the builder he contacted the supplier and told him to mind his own business and keep out of it!!! So many more problems are ongoing with no end in sight. There are 2 other properties in this small development with the same sedum roof problem. Any prospective buyer is advised to have a though in depth survey before any commitment.
