Welcome to Beauty and Hair By Rebecca based in Hucclecote, Gloucester. I cover a wide range of beauty and hair treatments at home, and mobile for my hairdressing, and also for weddings. I am a professional, reliable, hard working beauty therapist and hairdresser, and my aim is to put my clients at ease and relax them. I am CRB checked as I used to work at my sons' school as breakfast club leader, so I do alot of work with children cutting their hair. I've had my business now for nearly 27 years.
Well what can I say I had an extremely busy day doing 2 weddings. Up at 7.30 so had a little lie in, and then I left the house at 9am to go to my first wedding in Painswick, where I did the hair for the Bride and Matron of honour. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere and everyone seemed calm even though there were lots of people milling around. I did a lovely looped style for the bride with a side swept fringe, tiara and veil at the back underneath the loops. Matron of honour had a half up and down curly style which made her look as though she had loads of hair. I left there around midday and went home for a quick bite to eat before setting out at 1.15pm to my next wedding. I only had the bride to do at this one, and I did a French pleat where it was folded in at the back neatly, I slightly bouffant her hair before placing a gorgeous tiara in place. After doing her hair I then did her make-up, and then finished her hair off with the fringe area. I stayed on to help her into her dress, as she didn't have anyone around to help, as I've helped quite a few brides into their dresses previously it helped her relax and not worry so much. Once I'd done that, I tidied my things away and took a few pictures of her and went home where I then did a BBQ for the family.
Hi there everyone, I've had a very busy day and only 3 clients. Finished working at the school doing breakfast club for the children, got home and finished setting up my salon room for my first client of the day. She arrived at 9.30am and was here till 12.30, she had a manicure and pedicure, and also lots of waxing done, we had a laugh and joke, stomach rumbling by the end of the treatments. When she left I made myself a prawn salad sandwhich and sat outside in the garden to have it, as it's been a glorious sunny day. My next 2 clients came to me also for hairdressing and beauty treatments. Found some time to write this blog while kids at after school clubs. Just about to get tea on the go, and then out later to do 3 hair cuts for a new family of clients? Hope to be home by 8pm to relax, and get boy's lunch boxes sorted. Bye for now.

Rebecca did my wedding make up and created an extremely stylish hair design for me. Throughout the day “stunningâ€, “fantastic†and “beautiful†were repeated again and again. I felt a million dollars. This is all due to the skill and expertise of Rebecca. She made me look amazing and even helped me put my dress on! I will be using her services again and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

From start to finish Rebecca was brilliant. She quickly answered all my queries by email and was flexible in when she could do the trials. The hair and make-up on my wedding day for myself, 2 adult bridemaids, and my Mum was excellent. Both hair and make-up lastest all day and night and looks amazing in the photos. Thanks Rebecca!

This is the use of electrolysis to remove warts, verrucae, moles, skin tags, red veins, and other skin imperfections. This is the use of heat to cauterise the blood vessels, and to reduce the size of moles etc down to skin level.
Electrolysis is the eventually permanent removal of hair using short wave diathermy which is heat that kills the root of the hair. How long to kill the hair for it to never grow back all depends on the area being treated, also previous methods of removal

Hi Becky, thank you so much for the fab job you did on my hair and make-up, it was wonderful. I had the perfect day on Friday. Thank you once again, and I'll be recommending you to others xxx
I just wanted to say a massive thankyou to you for making 12/12/12 so special. Everyone commented on my hair before anything else!!!. The bridesmaids loved their hairdo's too. Can't thank you enough and will have no hesitation in recommending you to our friends who have now decided to marry at Birtsmorton in 2014. Thank you so much once again, Amelia xx
