I wouldn't trust them putting air in my wheels

I have had nothing put problems with this garage. This was meant to be an approved garage according to my insurance company. My car was stolen but it was recovered the day after the incidence and only required a new lock set as I only had the one set of keys, however this took nearly two months. This is where the problems arose. I’m meant to get a courtesy car the day my car arrives in the garage. I had to constantly chase the garage for the car and all I kept getting was our courtesy car is with another client but they should hand it back today. This happened for nearly two weeks. I had to involve my insurance company and they forced the garage to pay for a courtesy car from enterprise for the day. Funny that I got the garages courtesy car the next day after they were forced to fork out some money. Also it’s meant to be like for like but I was handed the lowest spec skoda fabia available. This car didn’t even have air con or electric wing mirrors, my first car had these features and that was an old corsa. They dropped off their courtesy car at the enterprise centre so I could just hand back the enterprise car and then jump into theirs. Then once I got into the garages car I had a look at the car check list, this had nearly 200 miles less than what was on the clock. So i don’t know if they were trying to scam me, as one of their rules was not to drive over 70 miles in a day. But I rang up the garage and they made a note of the correct millage. Then there was a big wait, nearly 3 weeks for the first set of locks to arrive. Then once they did arrive, they didn’t bloody work. Obviously this is isn’t the garages fault but the level of customer service from the garage was appalling. On multiple occasions I asked to be phoned back later in the evening, regardless if there was any changes or not, as the lady at the reception said we’re waiting to hear back from the supplier later today. But I never got a phone call back and never did. In the two months my car was sat on their floor, I received 4 calls. One of them being to tell me, oh no your car won’t be ready today as the parts are broken. So another set of locks was ordered and that took just as nearly as long to arrive. They fitted the door barrels, got that all working but when they went to fit the ignition barrel, the same thing happened again, it didn’t work. I don’t understand how this wasn’t tested when they noticed the door barrels were broken. So again another few weeks of waiting. With them just expecting me to wait around clueless to what’s happening with my car. Finally I got the car back today and the problems didn’t end there. The car was still mess, with remains of finger printing dust all over the place. On the windows, outside and in every little compartment in the car. But this is the least of my problems. The steering wheel isn’t straight when I’m driving straight. There’s a noise coming from the steering column that wasn’t there before The indicators now don’t turn off after completing my manoeuvre. Rattle coming from the inside of the driver’s side panel. Driver’s window switch has to be held to get the window fully down, before one click would result in it going all the way. One of the alloys is missing some lacer in the centre of the alloy now. Then another problem which isn’t due to them but should have been checked in a simple once over. The clutch’s biting point is now almost at the floor now. The car was believing to be stolen by some youngsters and this was one of my main concerns when this first was stolen, I made sure both my insurance company and the garage knew about my concerns, however the garage didn’t seem to care at all as it wasn’t on their list. My car was in immaculate condition before they had their hands on it. With receipts for every repair since the car was on the road. Now I feel like this garage has messed it all up. I haven’t had the change to fully check everything over but I’m planning on going over everything they could have touched with a fine toothbrush. The insurance company have been pretty helpful throughout this all, so probs to elephant. I’ve already spoken to them and they’re planning to get this all rectified as soon as possible, through another garage as I wouldn’t trust beeson and Galloway with putting air in my tyres. So in short, don’t bother with this garage. You can tell they’re some little town garage and think they can get away with things like this. I’ve never had to make a complaint before or write a bad review but this garage is an absolute joke.
