Ben Ford Guitar Tuition offers professional electric and acoustic guitar lessons at competitive rates, in a relaxed, informal environment in central Guildford, Surrey.
All levels of ability are welcomed, covering most contemporary music styles including; Rock, Pop, Blues, Metal, Funk, Folk, Punk, and Country. Lessons are tailored to the individual or small group, and cover; repertoire, technique, theory, improvisation, notation literacy, aural training, songwriting, creativity, music technology, and performance.
Ben Ford is a Bachelor of Music, registered guitar tutor with the Registry of Guitar Tutors, and a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians. He has recently written a technique based guitar tuition book 'Practical Practice'.

'Ben was the best possible teacher I could've asked for, he taught me what I needed to know in the way that I wanted to know. He made all lessons thoroughly enjoyable while still getting the work covered. In order to learn certain techniques or anything specific he'd ask me what I wanted to know and found ways to teach me it, be it an exercise, lick, riff and even songs.
