DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY !!!
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL ,ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THEY DO NOT CARE .THEY ARE RUDE AND DISMISSIVE.MY DAUGHTER HAD A AWFUL TIME AND REALLY SPOILT THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE FOR HER.I JUST WANT TO WARN OTHERS .THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS TERRIBLE ALSO .DO NOT BOTHER WITH REBECCA NEEDLE SHE TOO IS RUDE ...IT RUNS THROUGHOUT THE COMPANY AND NO ONE REALLY CARES .BUY ELSEWHERE .!! WHERE YOU WILL GET BETTER QUALITY AND SERVICE

where do i start ? rude obnoxious dismissive !! liers .Told me i was "ABNORMAL" for changing my mind on my dress.disgusting customer service.lied about sales.high pressure sales too .DONT GO HERE

What a farce!!!!!
After months of negotiating my bride has still not recieved the correct bridesmaids dresses. They have had to be returned twice as the incompetent staff made a catergoric mistake on both occasions resulting in the dresses being of no use at all!! We are still trying to get this resolved through legal channels and had to resort to buying dresses for all 6 bridesmaids off the rail. The whole organisation is just a complete farced, we certainley do not recommend!!

"Don''t listen to your friends" ????
We will never recommend this store!!! The lady who served us (we had 2 visits) was rude, made assumptions about the bride - was snappy, obsessed with us NOT taking pictures (I was texting my son!!!) We had a date fixed for the wedding, and a venue booked, money to spend - the woman was snappy, bullying, kept saying to bride whilst in changing room "don't listen to your friends, this is your dress," we felt rushed and not listened to. Very much the hard sell - ruined what shoudl have been a happy occassion. Luckily everywhere else we have been in Nottingham made up for this lousy experience. But we came away feeling like naughty school children (I am 48, bride 34, bridesmaid 19) and the bride wanted to cry. Other stoeres have said things like - you can try on every dress in the store to find the right one, take as many pictures as you like, there's no rush, take your time, come back as many times as you like etc, etc

Found my perfect dress
The ladies in here were very friendly and helped me to find my perfect wedding dress. Every time I went back to the shop to look at bridesmaid dresses and for fittings they were very friendly, interested and helpful. They do have quite a pushy sales technique but if you go with that in mind and are able to say no if you feel you are being pushed into parting with your money too early then it is definitely worth a visit as they have a massive selection of dresses and in my experience the sales assistants really listened to what I wanted.

Berketex Nottingham
Went to Berketx in Nottingham after visiting a few stores within Nottingham city. What can i say Yvonne was amazing, she listened to what i was after - appartently a very plain no fuss dress. But after trying on a few styles and designs, she helped me find my perfect dress (Not the one I THOUGHT i wanted) Delighted! Thanks Ladies x :)

Rude staff, ruined my first day looking for dresses
Berketex in Nottingham was the first proper bridal shop I went in and I won't be going back. The first question they asked was what date I had chosen and when I said the date hadn't been finalised yet but I was looking to get some idea of what type of dress I am after I was made to feel really unwelcome, got told that they like their customers to have the date already before they come to try dresses on (or even to look it appears) and that basically they didn't want me there., The assistant said there was no way anyone could choose a dress without the venue being booked (I wouldn't have a problem with that) and made lots of preumptions about my big day - which isn't going to be in a country house or castle as she suggested but a much more informal affair. It left a really nasty taste in my mouth on what should have been an exciting first day sussing out the wedding dress of my dreams. They obviously don't want my custom when I have finalised the date.

Put me at ease and chose the perfect dress
I found Berkertex Nottingham to be fantastic. I called and explained my "unique" situation (six weeks till wedding, 6' tall bride) and when I arrived I found that Alison had already sorted out dresses that were long enough for me and/or could be ready within the timescales I had to work to. The first dress I tried on wasn't my cup of tea, but before I could say anything Alison had already said "I won't let you wear that". The second was nearly perfect and Alison and the girls made it perfect by showing me a slightly more ornate bodice which was exactly what I'd dreamed of. They finished the whole thing off by making me walk round the shop with a boquet and tiara and making me feel like a million dollars! All three ladies in the shop were friendly and enthusiastic, which made me, who hates wearing shoes and dresses and loathes being made a fuss of, feel completely at ease and enjoy shopping for my dress. The whole thing took less than an hour and I came away feeling like all my dreams had come true.

We found the team very friendly and i went through a whole load of dresses until I found the one! Alison was our assitant and she was a star. She first asked what my ideas were and then she showed me what fitted my description or near to it. She then helped me try them all on. My advice is try on something thats slightly not what you have in mind and you will be surprised!

wonderfull helpful staff
i went in just for a look around not knowing what i was looking for ,the staff were there with dresses nothing was too much trouble for them even when i returned the next week with my 7 bridesmaids in toe . they got what i was looking and with in price range.i would recommend them .

Berketex
I am another bride that found Berketex to not be the experience it should be. I was made to feel awkward because I want a dress without a train and in white! I wasn't made to feel special I might as well of been going to buy work shoes for how special they made me feel! I'm glad this is the second shop I visited as I would of been put of going dress shopping. The dresses are all £999+ bar maybe one or two!

A few of my friends had visited Berketex and said they found the staff rude and unfriendly... because they offered a wide choice I ignored my friends and went along. I found they didn't listen to what I asked for, they totlayy ignored my price bracket, and kept badgering me with phone calls after my visit, tryign to get me to buy a dress I didn't want. They try to hard to be exclusive, to the poin t that they do not make you feel special or excited about your wedding - I would not recommend it.
