The Big Sleep Hotel, Cheltenham
From the outside The Big Sleep has little to recommend it beyond its central location. The tall concrete building has a stark appearance unlike its surroundings. Once inside all is clean lines and funky designs and the check-in is swift, efficient and welcoming. As a new hotel all is clean and fresh inside with large comfortable beds and well-equipped en-suite bathrooms, flat screen TV and all the usual tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel does not serve evening meals but there are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance that do, the hotel being situated one street back from the main shopping area. The hotel is also ideally suited to those attending performances at the Everyman Theatre. A continental breakfast is served with boiled eggs an option and facilities for making toast as well as the usual fruits, croissants and cereals.
