new roof

An incredibly negligent works carried out on a roofing job contracted out by Mr Martin, who's 'Team' that he brought in bodged the job from start to finish, and left without completion.. The roof leaks profusely, and has sabotaged all the new electrics within.. The men employed, downed tools and left the scene when our complaints on the complete mess of their work got too much for them to bother listening to.. They didnt even bother to tell of their actions to Mr Martin. We made him aware, and tried to invite him to come and talk to us to revise the work and plan a repair. Mr Martin was not interested in this. Instead he stole the remainder of the roofing materials on our property and disappeared. Presumably to his next roofing job, with free materials! He has left us with a roof that doesnt work and no funds to replace his work with, as he took payment up front in cash. Reader please be warned. This is by far the worst experience we have ever had with with any builder. We are badly (£19,000 ) out of pocket, and devastated by the experience. Not to mention, left with a roof that leaks and no funds left to put it right..
