After many years of suffering back pain
After many years of suffering back pain, taking so many pain killers that they didnï¾’t have any affect, my back problem was getting progressively worse, I decided to go to a Chiropractor. I had a consultation where I was told the extent of my condition and advised what I could do in the means of treatment and exercises. After several visits and exercising at home I was already feeling a difference. The pain was getting less and I was even going a whole day without pain. Over a time the appointments were reduced as progress was made and I continued with the exercises every day. Within three months of treatment the pain was greatly reduced and less frequent. After five months I would go three or four days without pain which was wonderful as I had been in constant pain previously. I could do things that I had not been able to do for sometime, was more upright and felt younger through the pain relief. I have been attending appointments for three years now and over this time I have progressed from three appointments a week to one every five weeks which is helping to maintain the progress that has now been made. I very rarely feel pain now but if I do I do the exercises as advised and feel instant relief. I do know that through age my condition will get worse but for now I donï¾’t have to take any pain killers and I have around 90% pain relief which means I can live a fuller life instead of feeling old before my time., I feel I now control the pain instead of the pain controlling my life.

I can move my neck
I am a lady of 72 years of age I have suffered from spondolitis and high back pain for over 40 years. I have had many different treatments, also alternative therapies, over the years. But after a friend recommended trying a chiropractor, I am able to say, I can move my neck more freely and I believe it helps me too manage my back pain a little better.

Dr Rousseau started working on my hips
In 1996 I tripped over a pallet and fell, twisting myself in two ways. I had X-ray at the hospital, paid privately for a consultation with an osteopath and visited a chiropractor. All these people concentrated on my knees and I had no relief. I was recommended by a friend who had trained with Dr Rousseau, to go into Birmingham to consult the Birmingham Chiropractic Clinic, which I did in late 1996. Here I was immediately given an X-ray on my hips and the problem was diagnosed on my first visit. The fall had twisted my hips, so all the work done on my knees had been unnecessary. Dr Rousseau started working on my hips ﾖ itﾒs a good thing that he is big and strong!!! The concentrated work lasted some weeks but I gradually got better and now I continue to visit the clinic every 3 months to be kept ﾓin shapeﾔ and if I have a problem Dr Rousseau always finds it and puts it right. I still limp a bit when I am tired but have had no pain for years

I am now able to live with my problem
I have been a patient of Mr Rousseau for about ten years and have found the benefits of his expertise extremely beneficial. From virtually having chronic back pain I am now able to live with my problem, simply by having regular check ups. Apart from having excellent treatment, the staff and the comfortable clinic makes it almost a pleasure to visit.

I had the occasion to know the Birmingham Chiropra
I had the occasion to know the Birmingham Chiropractic Clinic last year in winter. I was not feeling comfortable; I couldnï¾’t sleep for more than four hours per night. I used to wake up at three, four oï¾’clock in the morning and when I reached my job place I was moving shattered. Numbness, pins and needles and burning on my left thigh kept me awake. Due to this problem I was really nervous and worried as I didnï¾’t know what was going on. I thought these problems were related to the sciatic nerve but I didnï¾’t know where to go to solve them. My luck was that one colleague of my husband gave to him the suggestion and the address to go to the Birmingham Chiropractic Clinic. I am glad to know the clinic as it changed my. After a few weeks of treatment I didnï¾’t feel nervous anymore and I started to sleep again like a log. Now, I still go to the clinic every four months and recently I advised one friend of mine with back problems to go to the centre and he is happy too. Now I know where to go to solve many kinds of problems, not only back problems.

I am a patient of Dr Rousseau
I am a patient of Dr Rousseau I have been for quiet a few years. If it wasn’t for Dr Rousseau I wouldn’t be walking today. I have a problem which benefits chiropractic once a month, it’s very soothing and comforting; I come out of the Clinic stronger and pain free. I knew nothing of chiropractic before I went; I went as a last resort. I am so pleased I did try I have never looked back. I would recommend anybody with problems to give it a try I’m sure you will feel the same as me. Don’t ever be afraid of Chiropractic it's very soothing

We are both totally convinced of the benefits
I had a prolapsed disc about 18 years ago and was in hospital for three weeks on traction. When I came out I could walk, I was in pain and could not sit on an armchair. The next step if I didn’t improve was surgery. The sister on the ward advised me in confidence to avoid it at all costs. My daughter’s teacher recommended a chiropractor who she visited. Sceptically but desperately I went. After a few visits I was back to normal. I continue to have maintenance appointments 3 to 4 times per year but at 67 I am still playing badminton, climbing ladders and gardening. My wife also had attention for a very restrictive neck movement but now following treatment can turn it normally. We are both totally convinced of the benefits of Chiropractic

For most of my adult life I had headaches
For most of my adult life I had headaches and as I got older, I also had migraines, which would put me in bed for about 24 hours. I first visited Dr Rousseau approx 12 years ago and during regular sessions he worked on my neck and spine. Gradually my condition improved and the headaches were less frequent and not so severe. My quality of life was much improved. I now see Dr Rousseau every 4 months, I call it my MOT and consider it important for maintenance of my neck and spine

I had acute pain in my neck
I first came for chiropractic treatment because I had acute pain in my neck and could hardly turn my head from left or right, the legacy I suspect, of some over enthusiastic Flamenco dancing many years before! The injury was dealt with, but I became aware that regular chiropractic checks helped to keep my general health at a higher level ie my body feels more supple and freer and I even think it helps to keep my voice in good shape (I am an opera singer and teacher) Certainly chirpractic treatment has become part of my armoury of techniques for being able to work and live at maximum effectiveness as I grow older.

I was originally recommended to you by a friend who had experienced relief from pain by attending your clinic. I was, at that time (approximately 8 years ago), suffering dreadful back problems. I had tried an Osteopath, without success, and was delighted when after several weeks of intensive Chiropractic treatment; the pain gradually eased, and finally was so minimal that I progressed to maintenance treatment, 4 times per year. I have recently had a knee and leg problem, (probably caused by increased driving, since the sudden death of my husband 10 months ago). I am most grateful to Dr Rousseau, who has also begun most effective treatment on this, giving me much relief. So I have reason to be most thankful to Chiropractic Care, which has twice transformed my life.

With reference to chiropractic treatment, I myself would be unable to stand in an upright position. I sustained a fall at the age of five, on to a concrete floor. My spine and hip were then out of alignment. Having suffered for a number of years I was recommended to a chiropractor. Initially I received intensive treatment, but now only require 3 monthly treatments. I cannot speak too highly of the advantages of this practice

I was slightly apprehensive
When I first went to Dr Rousseau's clinic I was slightly apprehensive (although my husband had been a patient of his for at least two years) and was very please with the treatment he'd received for his back problem. I was quickly put at ease by Dr Rousseau and his staff. The problem I had was with my neck and shoulder, especially when driving, since seeing Dr Rousseau things have improved with my mobility.

I have been a patient of Mr Rousseau for quite a few years. I first attended Mr Rousseau's clinic after being involved in a car accident which caused problems with my back. I found Mr Rousseau's treatment gave me immense benefit and now attend once a month for a maintenance treatment. I now look forward to my visits
I was recommended by a friend to Chiropractic. It was the best thing that happened to me. I was nervous to start with, but was quickly put at ease by Dr Rousseau, and his friendly staff. I get a lot of help with the treatment, and I now go back once a month, (this being my own choice) and it helps me considerably. I now look forward to my visits because I always feel so much better. So I say anyone who is apprehensive "GO FOR IT!" Nothing to it, only relief from pain

After having physiotherapy and osteopathy
After having physiotherapy and osteopathy for a number of years, to ease the pain caused by degeneration at the top of my spine, I realised I was not getting any better. Then a friend introduced me to Dr Rousseau at his clinic in Moseley and since that first consultation and regular treatments I have never looked back. Seeing how much better in health I was, my husband, who had been in pain in his neck for considerable time, also came to see Dr Rousseau. We both now enjoy our sequence dancing virtually pain free.

Are you suffering pain in your head/neck/shoulders/back/knees etc ? then what are you waiting for -
I have been receiving treatment from Mr Rousseau since 1989 (aged19) after years of hospital/ doctors appointments that got me nowhere. I had been suffering with pains in my head and through my tongue along with neck and back pain.Although sceptical at first he showed me on an x-ray how far out of line my spine was and after a number of treatments I soon became pain free.I still attend 3-4 times a year to keep my bones in place. Its a bit like keeping your car serviced ! He was also my saviour 12 years ago when during childbirth I suffered a twisted pelvis and split pelvic bone. I phoned him explaining that I was in agony and struggling to walk. My husband virtually carried me in to the surgery as he saw me in that day after evening surgery , Mr Rousseau put my pelvis straight and gave me a belt to wear until my pelvic bone healed. All the doctor had offered was 15 tablets a day and another one stop side effects of the others !!- totally unneccesary. Mr Rousseau is a superb Chiropractor, I can not imagine what life would be like now if I had not continued to attend. Thank you

Fantastically effective treatment, kind and friendly staff, short wait times...Couldn't ask for more
Dr Rousseau has helped me immensely, I never fail to be amazed at the effects of his treatment, even after over 2 years. Both my back and neck have improved vastly, the frequency and intensity of pain are now nothing to what they were. I have also found that Dr Rousseau's extraordinary ability to relieve me of pain isn't confined to my back, just this week I complained of a particularly painful shoulder that I had injured recently. Within an hour of my appointment my shoulder caused me no pain at all. I am grateful and in awe, anyone who decides to undergo treatment here will doubtless feel the same

I HAVE BEEN SEEEING DR ROUSSEAU SINCE 1994. I SUFFERED BAD HEADACHES , MY NECK WAS CAUSING ME A LOT OF PAIN. HE HAS HELPED TO STOP ALL THAT AND NOW I SEE HIM EVERY 3 MONTHS TO CHECK AND KEEP THAT MY ALIGNMENT IS CORRECT. SO PLEASED I FOUND HIM. Back & Neck Problems... don't hesitate
I found Dr Rousseau in the early 90's. He was researching chiropractor treatments for dyslexic children. My son was fortunate enough to enter the programme. It helped him immensely. His co-ordination improved, as well as his reading and writing skills. Watching such minor adjustments make such a difference, I approached Dr Rousseau about treating my back and neck probelms which had been ongoing for several years. I had been sceptical about the treatment before. How glad I did, after my consultation, Xrays, and initial treatment, I was able to move more free and easily. Better than anything before. I have continued with the treatments ever since. I go every 4 weeks, I probably could go less frequently, but this suits my needs. Just wonderful!
