The BIS Skills Centre, based in Aberdeen, Scotland, is a leading provider of specialist training and consultancy services. We are focused on providing solutions which are flexible to meet the needs of various industry sectors. We offer a wide range of accredited training courses in a variety of specialist disciplines including Working at Heights, OPITO Blasting and Painting, and Confined Space and Vessel Entry. As an approved centre of the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), and with a strong partnership with OPITO, we ensure that delegates are trained in line with international industry standards. Our training courses combines theoretical knowledge and practical skills to develop advanced skills in personnel operating within technically demanding industries. With a view to making companies and their services globally competitive, skills and knowledge imparted by the BIS Skills Centre ensure that personnel are trained to operate safely and deliver services efficiently. As well as providing dedicated training services to external clients, the BIS Skills Centre also acts as the cornerstone for the continued development of BIS Salamis personnel.
