John Barras pub
The Black Bull is part of the John Barras chain of pubs. If you have ever been to a John Barras pub before, the menu and decor will be recognisable. The pub is rarely empty, largely due to its' location beside a large Department for Work and Pensions site.As a result, the pub is frequented by many civil servants at lunchtime or at the end of the working day.The food is nice enough but it won't blow you away. The pub (along with other John Barras pubs in the area) often have promotion offers on certain nights, e.g Buy One Get One Free.All in all, a reasonable pub in terms of food quality and price.
