Having bought a table and chairs from this branch we were told that it would be three weeks before the chairs would be in stock. We were happy with this yet on collection of the table four chairs where there. On getting them home we noticed the damage and scrathes/tears on the leather. We decided to contact them and said we were unhappy with the service and getting show room chairs [which they were] was not good enough. They offered us new chairs but by this and said it would cost £35 to set up the table as it had no instructions. We told them we no longer wanted the stock and want our money back. They then said they dont do refunds. Yet it states after 7 days you can return the goods and get your money back. They refused. KEEP CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE

Good service until something goes wrong, then rude, arrogant & uncompromising & liars. After one week with my new, very expensive leather suite it became marked after it was sat on!!!, at first said they would send someone round to look at it, then after several phone calls later, washed their hands of us, even the managing director was rude and arrogant!!

Aggressive service, scratches on delivered furniture - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I was initially drawn to Bohn by an excellent choice of dining tables and reasonable prices. I was later to find that once an order had been placed you have to pay for the product in full before it is delivered (I was advised when i made the order that I pay once i had opportunity to inspect the delivery). When I explained this to the chap that called to take full payment I was spoken to with contempt and very agressively told I was lying and that 'its not policy'. I was then told that if i didn't pay now ' your delivery would be cancelled immediately'. It transpired that this chap was actually the Director of the business - very worrying that someone like this would treat a customer in this manner. The Director gave me little choice and there was no time to order from somewhere else as the wife was expecting it for a party. Consequently this meant that if anything was wrong with the product there would be little recourse. Sure enough on delivery there were scratches on the base of the table and imperfections in the glass! Adviodance of calls since - simply not interested! What cowboys. I later found out a friend had encountered a similar experience. Aviod at all costs.

Refusing to refund £400 for missing order

Bohm furniture are refusing to refund me for an order that I paid for in full due for 3 week delivery which will now be over 12 weeks late, if it even comes. The company has a for sale outside the building which is worrying and the Director Mr Bohm, the only person who can issue a refund, refuses to speak with customers directly. However consumer direct have been very helpful and assure me that Bohm Furniture are in Breech of my consumer rights and therefore legally I am entitled to a refund. Very shoddy customer services.

I recently purchased a 3 piece suite from Bohm, I found them very helpful in the way they advised my wife and I as to which would be the best suite to buy we eventually settled on a cream leather suite, we would definitely return to bohm as we were pleasently surprised by the way we were treated.
