My family and I have regularly gone to the Bombay Spice over the years and have never been disappointed; the food has always been of a wonderful standard and the staff so friendly and helpful - some even remember our names! When we have had issues - such as once or twice feeling rushed - the manager has been perfectly agreeable and happy resolves have been made. I myself am not even a huge fan of Indian food but will happily go to the Bombay Spice anytime! The meals do not dissapoint and do not, as is found all too often elsewhere, simply carry three pieces of meat and then filled with "decorations" - they are substantial and pleasing and delicious and without fuss or pretention. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Rushed food.
We have only been here once but found the food quite good,BUT the service was all so so rushed,they rushed us for our order they rushed the starters out no sooner had the plates been taken and our mains were in front of us i was out of breath just watching the waiters.So a good relaxing meal no way.Would we go again possibly as we liked the food,but we would order our starters have them, then order our mains after.

Disappointing.
I visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day evening with three friends to celebrate my birthday. I have been here many times in the past and have had a good experience every time. I don't know what's happened to this place but quite honestly I was very disappointed.The behaviour of the waiters was, quite frankly, bizarre. We were either left for long periods or, probably when they were starting to get busy, hurried along. The waiter who brought our clean cutlery for the main course literally hurled it onto the table and the hot plates were not hot. I was happy with the quality of my food but that's about it.I will not be recommending this place to any of my friends.

Not polite staff
I love Indian food.I had mooved to Guildford recently and we(friends) thought we will try dinner at Bombay Spice. It is nice and clean place. Started with starter and we felt we were hurried to order main course and when we asked them for an extra cutlery the staff was very rude. When Manager arrieved he was rude as well and we had to walk out in the the middle of our meal.

I do not recommend as there are better restaurants
Guys this was my worst experience in an Indian restaurant in UK. I love Indian food and people. Last Friday We went to this restaurant, we were made to wait for 20 min (short of staff!), pressurised to order as soon as we took our seats, below average food served, rude staff and most important the hygiene is very much questionable. We had to leave after our starters and go to another restaurant. When there are many good restaurants in Guildford why go to this place!

Top of the poperdoms
The place looks clean and well kept,food was good only let down we all (10 of us)felt that we where rushed, no sooner starter plates taken mains started to arrive so it was not a relaxed meal.Saying that we will go again but will order our starters have them then order our mains.Cobra lager was great.

You can't go wrong
Clean, fresh and modern atmosphere (no Taj Mahals and ornate elephant pictures). But where it really scores is the no-nonsense food and friendly attentive service. I have been back several times and I don't even like Indian food!
