Boon Mung Mee Martial Arts...

First impressions are of a small and friendly group, lots of bater and humor before the lesson starts. The Instructor is friendly and enthusiastic. A small point that I noted is that he makes time to greet and speak to each of his students - this impressed me. The lessons started - in brief we went at a medium heart rate and then within a few minutes were pushed to go at 80-90% effort for the remaining 2 hours! Of course it is up to you to measure your own performance and motivate yourself accordingly. The first hour is exercises and core building - then the second hour is technical. I can honestly say that I have never experienced training like it. The exercises are about movement and control and together with a great class atmosphere that make you want to try harder - simply brilliant. The techniques as far as what I did were basic - but then that reflects my experience - but the more senior ones were simply awesome! the power, fluidity and speed is simply amazing. Have not seen this sort of thing outside of Thailand thats for sure. Thank you Ar-Jaan and Kru's and all the others who seem to be humored by my sound effects! See you next week
