The worst taxi company I've ever used

Brams-Premier Cars really are the worst taxi company I've ever encountered. 100% of the taxis I've booked with them (and it's been A LOT over the years) have been late and I've never had so much as an explanation, let alone an apology. Today I needed to get my girlfriend to the dentist in Alva for an appointment (2:25) after several months of waiting in considerable amounts of pain due to the COVID restrictions. I explained this in detail when booking the taxi (for 2:10) and I was assured it would be here on time. Side note: I tried every other taxi company in the area before calling Brams, and she was unable to leave earlier than the time we booked because of other commitments, that said, we allowed 15 minutes which should be plenty of time for a journey from Alloa to Alva. Dear reader, you will be unsurprised to learn that Bram's 100% record for lateness of our the taxis remains unblemished. By about quarter past I called up to find out where our taxi was going only to be met with the tired excuse about "having problems with a car". When I pointed out that this is the same excuse they use literally every time I call up about a late taxi, I clearly struck a nerve, as the guy lost control and began shouting (not a loud voice, but shouting) down the phone at me...to the extent that my girlfriend, who was sat some distance from me could hear him clearly. His advice? He'd cancel our car and he recommended we never use Brams again if we require our taxis to be on time. As a small business owner (and a decent human being) myself I would simply never shout at a customer when the problem was quite clearly of our own making...in fact, I struggle to think of any occasion where shouting in anger at a customer or anyone is called for, and whether this was the owner or just an employee of the company it speaks volumes about their attitude towards customers. He also repeated "who do you think you are" and called me "pompous" simply for pointing out how he was using the same excuse they've always used...i wasn't given the opportunity to get any more words out before the onslaught began...like I said, clearly a raw nerve. So, I'll take his advice and never use Brams again and I highly recommend that if punctuality matters to you that you find an alternative taxi company... I can highly recommend Parkside Taxis in Alva who have always been punctual, polite, and incredibly professional.
