About

We are an Assemblies of God (AoG) Pentecostal Church, with a multicultural congregation, and family-friendly environment. Our Sunday morning Services start at 10:30am and finish at Noon. We endeavour to be an inclusive church, encouraging members to become integrated, and active members of the community. We are a Bible-based church, who believe that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible is relevant for all generations, and our message is to show how it applies today to enable people to live God's way, which is the best way. We enjoy worshipping God through music which is both lively and contempary, and welcome anybody who would like to join us at one of our Sunday morning services.

Breakthru church, headed by Dean Kitchener and his father-in-law, Chris Day, is probably the worst church in Brentwood. Between them Kitchener and Day have managed to turn this church into a money spinner. They have prostituted true religion in a sordid bid to make a quick buck. Day has fallen out with most local Christians. Kitchener, with a PhD in engineering, is the brains behind their money making ventures. These include wittingly neglecting the Dickensian chapel in Primrose Hill in an attempt to demolish this fine 19th century building, and sell it off to a property developer. He and Day also made 2 lunatic planning applications to Brentwood B C. These included an insane proposal for a 1000 space underground car park. This, in spite of the fact that just 20 people attend this church! They have alienated all of the local people living in and around the church. Kitchener and Day thought they would get rich through selling the chapel. Thankfully Brentwood Council had the good sense to reject their mad proposal. The manse in Crown Street is not owned by Kitchener or Day. It belongs to the church. It remains a mystery as to who actually owns it, but it is certainly not owned by these 2 men. Despite this, they are reputed to have tried to flog it, pocket the money, which would be considerable, and run. A female deacon is alleged to have been kicked out of this church by Day when she complained about the allegedly dishonest way in which he was handling the Sunday collection. He booted her out. The Fraud Squad should be sent in to investigate. In the 1980s Day was presented with a hefty VAT bill on a Vauxhall Cavalier bought for him by the church. When asked why the VAT had not ben paid he is reputed to have replied that he di not think it was owing as the car was a "love gift". LOL. Kitchener, the brains, behind the operation, with West Country dimwit, Chris Day, both of whom hail from poor working-class backgrounds, are trying to use this church and the Gospel to make themselves rich. Kitchener's own father has allegedly disowned him for trying to use Christianity to make himself wealthy. These men are a disgrace and bring Christianity in Brentwood into disrepute. They are not fit to serve in this or any church. They need to be investigated by the police and local media. It is probably only a matter of time before they make another crazy planning proposal. It is important that local people remain vigilant and oppose this.
