Brierley Groom and Associates is an award winning chartered architects practice,
known for creating both traditional and contemporary
architecture.

OUR DESIGNS

Our designs range from extending private homes and single dwellings to large-scale developer lead housing and apartment schemes. Apartment design provides many opportunities for fresh new thinking. As architects, we try to make each development an inspired piece of design. Working closely with private clients or developers, we endeavour to deliver a project that is exciting and practical.

COMMENDATIONS

Established in 1750 by John Carr of York, the practice has continued uninterrupted since that time, making us the oldest architectural firm in the country. The practice has won several design awards including the White Rose Commendation for Housing in a Conservation Area, Ryedale Good Design & Construction Commendations, Civic Trust Commendations, Jersey Design Award (remodelling and refurbishment),Yorkshire Association Award for
Excellence in Concept Design and Execution of Civil Engineering Works and a Best Non Residential Building Award.
