Brighton Streamline Taxi Worst Consumer Service Ever

When calling to book a taxi, the agent on the phone got the address wrong and could not find it, after repeating 3 time that it was "Avenue" and not "Road" they said the taxi was booked and gave me a price of £15. I got a call back saying they made a mistake on the price and it would be £29 instead of £15. They called ma back later as the driver could not find us at the address, they still had registered "Road" instead of "Avenue"... I called them back after a while as the taxi did not arrive, they checked the address with me and still had the wrong address booked and they finally booked it right. I asked for the price again and got told it was by the meter but would be "around £15". The taxi finally arrived, I told the taxi driver that the last price I was told was "around £15" and asked him to confirm, he checked the addresses and said it would be £29 he said had nothing to do with the Brighton Streamline Taxi company regarding payments and advised to see directly with them for a refund as he had to collect the £29. The taxi driver also said that it was not the first time that they given him an incorrect address and he had to waist time trying to find the correct one. I called back the company whilst in the taxi and the consumer agent was unwilling to listen so I asked to speak to a manager. John, who would not give me his last name, told me that he could not give us a refund for the difference despite all the errors they made and the fact that the last price given to me on the phone was "around £15". I could go on and on with more details about how unhelpful and inconsiderate the consumer service was but the main issue here is giving the consumer a final price and making them pay double price for a mistake they made and were not willing to get responsible for. All in all I would never recommend anyone to use their services unless you want to be ripped off!
