I needed to rent a property in Brighton recently due to my work relocation. The agents were really helpful and was very patient with me as I was a first time renter. I got a property through Brighton Homes in Brighton, very close to the town. The letting agent who handled my case was very efficient and friendly. I got everything done smoothly without having to go to Brighton several times. The referencing process was a bit prolonged, I was informed of this and explained that this process needs to be done thoroughly to protect the landlord, which I understand. Everything went quite smoothly. I was meant by the inventory clerk and was checked in, show how all the appliances worked, where to put rubbish, store bikes, ect. All was very helpful and useful for someone new moving into the property. Fantastic and excellent company. Would recommend them to all tenant who are looking to rent a property in Brighton.

I have a small property portfolio which has 5 properties to rent out. All of them were in BN1 and BN2 post codes in Brighton. I have always used my agent for over 4 years and when one of the properties came up for rent again I suggested that I might get more than that the current rent achieved, agent strongly disagreed with me. So I decided to instruct another agent, Brighton Homes, Nigel Pragnell from Brighton Homes came to have a look and advised me that he could get more rent easily. The tenants were much better quality than my previous tenants and the rent significantly higher (£200 to be precise) than I have been getting. On this pleasant experience I gave all my properties to Brighton Homes. Since my instruction they have made contact with all existing tenants and have reviewed rents and have increased them all. I found them very efficient and helpful. They found tenants quickly. Increased my rental income by 30%. The icing on the cake is they are 1% cheaper than my previous agent. I am a portfolio landlord in the Brighton area and I would definitely recommend them. My advice to any landlord is your agent should look to get you top rents at all times and provide you with excellent service, if this is not the case, leave them and go to Brighton Homes. I found that Brighton Homes were interested in achieving the best possible price for me as a landlord rather than just pushing a let through to earn their commission as fast as possible, as a result of changing to Brighton Homes I have increased my returns on my property investment. If you are looking for a letting agent in Brighton them search these guys out, they are fantastic and good bunch to deal with too.
