The project Richard undertook was to turn a central stairway around in a mid terrace property. This involved a re-working of the entire house, impacting on almost all rooms. Richard agreed to take on the project and return the property to a standard good enough to decorate. As well as the structural work this included plastering, carpentry, electrics, plumbing, etc. When getting quotes for the work Richard stood out from every other person I spoke too (around 15 other companies); he had a good understanding of what needed to be done, was realistic about how much it would cost and was able to provide sound advice on the project right from initial discussions. I couldn't have been happier with the result; Richard and his team worked hard and were evidently very skilful, overcoming any unexpected problems without trouble. They were always friendly and polite and were surprisingly tidy considering the extent of the work being done. The project was completed on time, within budget and to a high quality. I was so pleased with the result that Richard returned later in the year to do some work on my kitchen; and again the results and experience were excellent
