Awful, Just Awful

Bristol Garden Services were first contacted by my wife and I in May. As a self employed contractor myself, it gives me no pleasure in writing a negative review, but as such, I have a reliable perspective to base my opinion on. This company were hired to conduct a basic garden tidy; they were TWO HOURS LATE and not did not provide an apology or even an explanation. They argued petulantly and somewhat overly defensively about what hourly rate was agreed, despite my audio record of this arragement and I struggled in general to communicate with them exactly what was required. Upon completion of their work, I was extremely disappointed with the standard, given what I had paid. After the engagement, they sent us numerous texts requesting a review, which we responded to by giving them another chance, thinking perhaps the previous bad experience was just an isolated incident. My wife insisted on giving them another chance recently by seeing how they did with a fencing quote, they attended and vowed to provide a quote. Once again their communication was so appalling, as they didn't even get back to us, I eventually used someone else. AVOID.
