Broad Ing Cottage is part of a barn conversion in a courtyard setting on the fringe of the village of Tirril which nestles on the edge of the Lake District National Park, 2 miles from Ullswater Lake and 3 miles from Penrith. The cottage is deceptively spacious and is equipped to a very high standard. All rooms are on one level and overlook the pleasant rear garden and open filelds. Being very private and peaceful it is a perfect location for relaxing and therefore appeals to couples and families alike. Sleeps six - 3 bedrooms. Large lounge, large dining kitchen, shower room, house bathroom, utility/drying room. Ullswater Lake with its spectacular views is two miles from the cottage, making it ideally situated for walking and sailing. The market town of Penrith which has all the necessary ameneties is three miles away and the village of Pooley Bridge which has a village store and post office is just two miles. Pub/restaurant - The Queens Head Inn - which serves both bar and restaurant food and has a log fire and welcoming atmosphere is a ten minute stroll from the cottage. Visit Britain 4*.
