All tutors at The EcoCube are friendly, approachable, patient and most of all want you to learn and take away all the information you want from the course. If you are unsure whether a course is suitable for you, we would be very happy to put you in contact with the appropriate tutor to discuss your needs and find the right course for you.

Our range of Health and Safety courses help your business fulfill all legal obligations

Our Food Safety, Manual Handling and Health and Safety accredited courses are all run by former Environmental Health Officers making them the perfect trainers will help guide you through your legal obligations.

First Aid courses are taught by OFQUAL qualified trainers, enabling you to fulfil one of the HSE criteria. You can therefore be assured that you will get the high quality first aid training to meet the requirements of the HSE.

Our Fire Marshalling and Fire Extinguisher courses are delivered by members of the fire service, to help teach you all aspects of responsibilities and requirements to keep yourself and others safe.

We have a range of personal development courses to help you expand your knowledge

Courses are available to suit everyday workplace situations including managing stress, customer service, supervising, increasing sales and presentation skills.

Have you always dreamed about starting your own business but not sure where to start?

Maybe you want to turn your hobby into a business or just want to be your own boss?

A free programme is offered by Broadland District Council for all Broadland residents who want to find out more about self-employment.

The three hour Business Start-Up Workshop is designed to introduce you to the basic principles of starting a business, where you are also provided with a Business Start-Up Toolkit.

After attending, the follow-on Business Essentials Programme delves deeper into what to expect in starting and running your own business. The course shares knowledge and signposts you to additional resources. This is a three day course, with a gap between the second and third day to allow you to explore your ideas before attending the last day.

Throughout and after each course, you will receive on-going support and advice from the Council's Business Advisors as you decide whether running a business is right for you.

After completing the programme, you may have the option to take a series of further free courses as discussed with the Business Advisor.

A new programme begins every month.

The ultimate aim is to provide you with confidence, knowledge and practical experience in using Microsoft programmes

Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels of the Microsoft programme Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint are run within small groups to help give you the personal touch for you to gain as much out of using programmes in your daily tasks.

Having an online presence for your organisation is a necessity as social media continues to grow and our courses help you learn more

Our courses focus on the main social media sites including Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Twitter and our courses will help you find out how to use them to get your business noticed, use them as communication tools, protect your reputation, drive traffic to your website and position yourself as a leader in your niche.

From digital photography to basic computer skills, we have courses to learn for your lifestyle

We are also proud to offer a course in Digital Safety for Parents to help protect your children in the ever-changing world of online. This course is free for Broadland District Council residents and only £10 for non-residents.
