This restaurant used to be a Brewsters and then a Brewyers Fayre before becoming a Pub & Carvery so it is fair to say that it may have had difficulties in the past. However it is in it's latest guise as a carvery that is is reviewed. The main sign is the head turner at £3.50/main course during the week and Saturday rising £3 for a Sunday. I have now visited this on 2 occasions with family and both times have had to wait for a table due to the popularity of the place. Generally filled with families given the budget busting price. It works as 1 visit to the Carvery for meat but as many visits for veggies. I have yet to be disappointed at the quality of the food and have not had to make a return visit for veggies given the amount you can pile on during the first visit. I know that this sort of place will not be to everybodys taste but before you dismiss it think about what you would spend on a visit to McDonald/Burger King/KFC for a family and that's before you've even considered the obvious health benefits of a good cooked meal.
