The school was set up by Robert Bruce (B.E.M), who coaches pupils of all ages through their driving lessons. Robert moved into driving instruction after leaving the police force and now extends his practical knowledge to you. Robert is a trained pursuit advanced driver and has an excellent track record - the perfect choice for the budding driver looking to pass first time!

Robert's unmistakable yellow mini comes with all creature comforts and includes the Anti-lock Breaking System (just in case), air conditioning, traction control, automatic stability control, alloy wheels, leather steering wheel, salt package, a CD player & boost to radio, alarm and "He-Man" dual controls.

Theory Test

Assistance with the Theory Test is available using CD`s and Mock Papers. However, we suggest a course of home study using the above materials. A CD-ROM is available from the D.S.A. by mail order. Telephone 0870 010 1372 The Theory Test costs £15.50 Several web sites also give free access to Theory Test Questions Banks and offer free Mock Tests.


When sitting the Theory test, candidates sit at individual booths. Questions appear on a computer screen and you answer the questions asked simply by touching the screen, when you have finished all the questions to the test, you follow instructions on the screen and wait for your results and information within 30 minutes of completing the test.


The test is made up of 35 questions which you have to answer in 40 minutes, unless you are special needs in which you have to apply for additional time when booking the test.


You have to correctly answer 30 question out of 35 to pass the test. Once you have passed the test it is valid for two years, if you do not pass your Practical Test in the two years, you will have to undertake and pass the Theory test again.
