I went to this indian restaurant/pub for a meal in a party of 5 people on saturday night and what an experience. The pub inside is really cosy and very quaint, it is lovely, however the indian resturant part of the pub wasn't. It felt like we were eating in a back room, it is very bland, painted white walls and not much else and very, very cramped. We had 5 people eating at a tiny circular table and were forced to use the dirty windowsill next to us for our drinks, condiments etc. The service was so terrible it was actually quite funny. We ordered our food and when it was served it was literally flung at us on the table. The seperate plates of curry, rice and naan breads didn't even fit on the table, that's when we used the windowsill. We asked for a garlic naan and were served a plain nann bread with rasins on?? We then asked for 2 extra plain naans, which never arrived, so we gave up asking again. Then after our main meal plates were taken away we were handed the bill and not even offered the dessert menu. It was like a scene out of fawlty towers and it actually gave us something to have a giggle at, because the service was awful. However the food - the currys and starters were very nice, nothing to complain at taste or portion wise, but then again on the other hand the food was nothing to rave about.
