This is a lovely home to visit. I visited my uncle regularly and up to his admission I have never had any experience of care homes. I found the residents were treated with great respect and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The home is beautifully decorated, food is lovely and I don't think we could have found a more perfect place for him. My late father had to go into a residential care home due to ill health, after looking at various care homes and visiting my brother and I decided this offered the best amenities for my father's needs, during his unfortunate short time there both he and I were very impressed with the level of care and attention he received. I was also made to feel like a very welcome part of the community and was able to visit at what ever times suited me, tea and coffee and the odd cream cake were always on offer and more importantly the staff were always on hand to listen to any concerns I had and advise accordingly. Hopefully should I need a care home in the distant future Wardleygate will still be open.
