Joanne Jones – BA(Hons)

Joanne's background is mainly art and design orientated. Graduating from Bath University, with a BA(Hons), where she studied archaeological illustration, 3-D studio Max, and general illustration.

After graduating, Joanne worked as an interior designer at Laura Ashley, moving up to interior designer and their in-store designer, offering a unique service - implementing her knowledge of 3-D rendering: designing clients properties on the in-store computer – allowing them to see how their home could look. Her roll also included training new in-store designers.

After being head hunted, Joanne moved on to set up Rabart – decorator's merchants - interior design service, in the historical spa town of Bath, Somerset. Over the last three years, since joining the company, Joanne's work and reputation has grown exponentially – working on a wide variety of project styles, designing the interiors of over three hundred homes. Although, her speciality is designing the interiors of historical and period properties - from residential to commercial – ensuring that original features are restored to their former glory, Joanne also works on modern and contemporary projects.

Joanne's approach is broad-based. Along with on-site visits to projects - due to her knowledge of 3-D rendering - she also offers her unique virtual design service, using ‘3D Studio Max' technology. Therefore, she doesn't have to be on the premises, or even in the same country, to consult and effectively execute any given project for her clients.

Her work incorporates dealing with the technical side of decorating, acquiring product knowledge, sourcing new materials, recommending builders and decorators , or working with a clients existing contractors and working alongside any eclectic crew.
