the best places are always worth finding and this was worth the looking. the owner is really nice and welcoming and she has the most amazing range of teas. i had one which was a closed flower which then opens up in hot water beautiful to look at as well as to taste. my son had tea a which was supposed to be good for hayfever he and i were amazed when his symptoms calmed down, so we then bought some nettle tea which we were told was good for his excema and have to say when it flairs up the tea does wonders.so if u want to go to somewhere the opposite of starbucks i highly recommend this little cute tearoom.

Camellia Sinensis is the Latin name for the Tea Plant, and as you'd expect, this tea room celebrates tea - and how!Jars upon jars of blends and infusions line an entire wall, and there are so many to choose from it would take forever to list them here. But looking at all the different kinds is just one of the pleasures of this lovely tea room. Another is the genuinally friendly service, the wholesome food and cakes (!) on offer (Lemon Polenta Cake is addictive!) and it's slightly out of the way location in Kingly Court. A welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of nearby Carnaby Street, and the perfect antidote to anyone tired of the Costas and Starbucks of this world, please go along to Camellia's and discover tea how it should be!
