My name is Susan Taylor - and I am a dog behaviourist and trainer. I am here to help you and your dog overcome any problems or anxieties you may have. These may seem insurmountable at times, but I can show you a way out.

You and your dog are a partnership in all aspects of your life together, but as in every partnership, each of you has your level of expertise. You have human intelligence, the power of reason and the ability to foresee the outcome of any action either of you take. Your dog has supreme senses, far superior to ours, maybe even a sixth sense. Who knows? Both of you should be working to complement the other; to achieve a solid and harmonious relationship. But I would not like to bet that is the case.If it was, you wouldn't be looking at this website, would you?

I can show you how to rebuild your relationship with your dog and once you know why your dog is doing certain things, then the solution can be found. When a human and a dog have a special bond, it shows to the world there is love, trust and mutual respect between them and that is a beautiful thing to see. When you walk down the street with a well behaved dog at your side, you are far more likely to receive smiles and the occasional conversation rather than grimaces and tuts.

It is important to realise that everything you do, your actions, your body language and your scent is scrutinised by your dog. He watches you all the time because you are the centre of his world. Everything begins and ends with you.It is a huge responsibility, but once you know what is going on in his head, it is surprisingly easy to establish and maintain a good human/dog partnership.
