Carematters are Chartered Financial Planners who specialise in the financial needs of later life clients. Not only have we been awarded with the prestigious title of Chartered Financial Planners we are members of SOLLA (Society of Later Life Advisors). We are based in Hertfordshire and cover other home counties such as Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Royal Berkshire and Middlesex, as well as North London.

Care Fee Advice

Retirement Advice

The pension reforms announced by George Osborne in 2014 have changed the way we use our pensions forever. From April 2015 if you are over the age of 55, you will be able to access 100% of your pension fund (not those in company pension schemes). The money held in your pension fund can be accessed in much the same way as your money in your bank account can. Whilst their are taxation issues to be considered, this represents a monuntal change in how we use our pensions.

There has been talk of people taking their pension fund money and buying a 'lamborghini' or blowing it on a round the world cruise, but for the majority of us, ensuring that we have a comfortable retirement will still be their main priority.
