The Carre Arms Hotel is a family owned & run hotel and restaurant renowned for over 25 years for quality service & fabulous food sourced locally (wherever possible) for both quality & freshness.

Real ales and an excellently stocked wine cellar complement our brasserie and bar menus. Our style of cooking is an eclectic mix of modern English and Mediterranean.

Whilst staying with us why not relax in our beautiful Victorian glass covered courtyard.

We now have Wireless internet coverage around all our bars and restuarants and guest rooms.

Conference Centre

There are two rooms available for use either for conferencing or less formal meetings:

The Courtyard Suite (which has recently gained a Civic Trust Award) is available for 25-120 people
(lay out dependent)

The Mareham Room up to 40 people (lay out dependent)

There are two well-appointed bars, which also serve speciality teas and coffees and two restaurants in which to dine. (If you prefer a working lunch we could serve it to you in your conference room)

We have three day-delegate rates, these rates are inclusive of all equipment* and afford a 10% discount for those wishing to stay overnight. For details click here. Alternatively the rooms may be hired on room only basis i.e. a day rate, half day rate or evening rate.

We have ample parking both to front and rear of building. Easy access to public transport (only a minutes walk to Sleaford railway station.) We are central to Grantham, Boston, Lincoln and Newark, which makes it an ideal location.

Restaurant

The Carre Arms is owned and run by the Cunago Family. We have been in business locally for more than twenty-five years and have always taken pride in the quality of our food and service. Our ingredients are sourced for both quality and freshness and wherever possible produced locally. Our main suppliers are Skinner and Sons Quality Butchers of Barrowby, Peterborough Game Company and Grasmere Farms

Our Chefs, led by Head Chef Philip Baker, use their vast experience to produce a menu to suit both the traditional and the more adventurous customer.
As most items are cooked to order please allow time for certain dishes. Let us know if you are in a particular hurry.
Where possible we are pleased to modify dishes to suit special dietary requirements.

Our A la carte menu changes regularly to allow for seasonality.

More 'child friendly' dishes are available upon request.
