Very unpleasant experience.

Very bad experience with this garage. The owner, Paul, who has no concept of customer service, undertook work on my car that he admitted may have been unnecessary and did not solve the problem I took it there for. He also admitted he couldn't diagnose the problem and may have to keep fixing things until the problem was solved, meaning it was a case of an open cheque book. After I explained I was not happy I'd paid for repairs that may have been unnecessary, he did not apologise or offer a concession for further repairs, he instead refused to fix the car and demanded it was picked up. As I was on my way to pick up the vehicle he phoned me to check I was coming and when I told him I was coming, he hung up on me. He was very defensive and despite me speaking to him rationally, he tried to start an argument and was extremely rude. So after having "repairs" done on two occasions, neither of which fixed the problem, he refused to do any further work on the car. I wouldn't want anyone else to have a similar experience. It cost me a lot of time and money, both of which could have been avoided if they'd done their jobs properly.
