About

Cheerful and bustling Italian restaurant in Glasgow's Merchant City. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the restaurant boasts an extensive menu serving unique comtempory Italian dishes. Qua's head chef Leonardo trained in Rome for 30 years and the menu retains an inspired Roman feel which is enhanced by owner Rocco Martone's Tuscan Influence. Large parties catered for in the upstairs dining area. Set menus available to suit any dining requirements. Signature dishes include Bistecca alla Qua - Prime Scottish beef sirloin steak served in a sauce of wild mushrooms, truffle oil, and Marsala wine, Bistecca al Cognac - Scottish beef sirloin steak served in a sauce of cognac, venison and cherry tomato sauce and Sogliola Vellutata con Asparagi e Pinoli - Golden-fried battered sole on a bed of asparagus, fresh cream, white wine and roasted pine nuts. Excellent location for the city centre, minutes from George Square.
