We are still waiting for a breakdown of service charges and the reasons why they have decided to add on extra charges for reserve and other such funds without warning or explanation.

DO NOT BUY OR RENT IF CHAMONIX ESTATES IS THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY.
I called Chamonix Estates this morning for some advice on flats that they manage before we decide on purchasing in Chadwell Heath, Romford. I was past from pillar to post and had to deal with 5 people before I finally got a response which was a load of rubbish. After doing some further research I found out the correct information needed. I am lucky that the incorrect information Chamonix Estates provided was not used to make a decision. It is shameful that this company is supposed to be a professional limited company but yet they cannot answer a simple question about their service or costs. Just so you know what I am referring to, I asked a simple question of who manages the property on behalf of Chamonix Estates (meaning workers or sub-contractors if any), what days they carry out their duties and what do they charge for the annual service charge. I was given a whole load of made up and incorrect information with costs that contradicted themselves from the start of the conversation through to the end. Costs kept changing during the conversation and they kept adding additional charges without knowing what they were for. A service charge should be a single annual charge based on agreed costs. Obviously Chamonix Estates have no idea on how to calculate and when also asking for a breakdown of such charges, they could not provide this information either. CHAMONIX ESTATES IS NOT A COMPANY TO BE TRUSTED OR DO BUSINESS WITH! My husband and I have decided against the purchase of the flat and will be looking at a property that has no connection with this awful and untrustworthy company.

High charges , little work
Complete con artists. They are the worse company I have ever dealt with. No respect for residents and all they want is money. They have broken so many laws I don't even know where to begin with this con company. They need to be locked up.
