About us

The firm was established in 1902 by Charles Head and is still partly owned and managed by the same family. Charles Head Estate Agents has successfully survived two world wars and the endless cycle of the market's peaks and troughs. Today, the company flourishes, providing unparallel service and calling on a wealth of experience and local knowledge.
In addition to managing the sale and marketing of residential properties, Charles Head has a strong commercial division and a comprehensive block management and rental service.

Kingsbridge
Tony Head
Great grandson of the original Charles Head, Tony joined the firm in 1971 and has overall responsibility for house sales and lettings.
Robert Cattell
Specialising in valuations, auctions, residential and commercial sales. Robert joined Charles Head in 1975.
Richard Turton
Chartered Surveyor specialising in property management joined Charles Head in 1992 bringing an extended wealth of knowledge. He is assisted by Laurence Leadbetter.
Mark Head
Mark is the first of the fifth generation to join the family firm. He has responsibility for Marketing and Residential Sales.
Frith Chadwick Frith joined Charles Head in 2003 and has held various posts in the company in both branches over the years and is currently undertaking Residential Sales in Kingsbridge.
Lisa Titterton
Manager with overall repsonsibility for residential lettings, joined the firm in April 2006 and has 8 years experience and ably assisted by Amanda Stephens, Amanda joined the company in July 2011.
Sarah Blackler, Sue Allen and Pat Wyatt
Responsible for administration, production of sales material and website management.

Gavin Sagar
Joined the Charles Head team in 2014 as Branch Manager, he has over 20 years experience in the residential market, he is ably assisted by Clare Entwistle who lives in the town and Jenni Doswell who has grown up in the area and has excellent local knowledge.
