Unreliable and Should be Avoided

I used the services of Cheadle Cars regularly for a month on my way to and from work every day. The taxi would be on time on about 75% of occasions, but just when you need them most, Cheadle Cars will let you down. Booking well in advance makes no difference. Cheadle Cars will leave you standing at the station in the freezing cold (and making you late for work as a result), or when you're tired, feeling unwell and trying to catch a train home, fail to turn up at all. Their drivers don't care and apologies are not forthcoming. Also beware of drivers that "don't know the area" and take you the long way around, then contradict themselves by revealing that they "don't go down that road because the speed bumps ruin their car." Another of their favourite tricks is to ring you up at 5:30am and tell you that your taxi is ready... when in fact you booked it for 5:30pm. Once could be a genuine mistake, but twice? Three times?! If you can afford to be late, miss your train, be late for work or just don't mind standing in the rain, then give Cheadle Cars a try. Me, I'll be giving them a wide berth.
