After seeing recommendations on RA I contacted Bob Singh when my mortgage term was coming up for renewal. I spoke to him twice, the first prior to COVID and the second during COVID. He gave me his honest advice and guidance each time. As our financial situation changed during COVID (we became one income less + took the first mortgage holiday) he advised not to extend the mortgage holiday if we could afford not and to stick with our current lender, even though I found a slightly better rate with another lender. The thought of having a bad credit rating, having to go through all the paperwork and probably be scrutinised as banks became more cautious was daunting. We decided not to extend the mortgage holiday and nearer the time our lender offered a better rate and it wasn’t that far off from the competition, therefore we decided to stick with the same lender. Not once was Bob pushy for a sale, even though he could have easily pushed for one as I had found a better deal. He looked below the surface of the deal; he knew how the lender operates, what was involved, the implications, the full costs over the term etc. and advised me what would be beneficial for me in the long term based on my current situation. I’m glad I took his advice. Not many lenders would give you this for nothing. For him it was 15 minutes of his time, for me it is peace of mind for the next 5 years. Thank you Bob; your knowledge, expertise and insight is invaluable. I’ll be in touch when I’m ready to move forward with some of your other services.

Complex mortgage!
Bob & Jaz have been absolutely brilliant and with us every step of the way to receiving 3 different mortgage offers. Our situation was a complex one, but Jaz never gave up on us (even when I was ready to give up!) I can't recommend Chess enough, for both expertise, knowledge and general support. Thank you guys.
