About

About us

The Chilli Lounge Indian Restaurant in Huddersfield has a reputation for its Traditional and modern Indian Cooking. Since opening our doors we have served what some consider the "a al carte" of Indian dining.

The portions are generous and our friendly and courteous staff will serve you in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere.

We carefully select and grind our spices, blending them using traditional methods.

Our chef seeks to recreate some of the high quality dishes enjoyed in the old days of Raj and the modern day and alongside the management have experimented in new recipes to provide our customers with a menu that aims to satisfy all tastes.

If you should have any comments of suggestions, or would like more information on our dishes, please ask our staff, who will be please to help you.

Simply exquisite Indian restaurant. My first visit to Chilli was by accident. We were going elsewhere but that restaurant wasn't open. We spotted Chilli over the road and decided to give it a try. Good decision! From the moment you walk into the glass fronted building you are enshrined in it's character. White and red everywhere. White walls, wooden floors and red leather seating. Red trim, red candles, red fabrics. If they put this much effort into the design and feel, what must the food be like?Chilli can get very busy. If there's a group of you then definitely book ahead. Otherwise, be prepared for a wait. There's a seating area at the front where you can enjoy a drink whlie waiting for a table, but often it can be standing room only. While you might not want to wait to be seated, the waiter knows this too. He's so attentive, letting you know you've not been forgotten each time he comes past. You won't be left wanting while you're waiting.Once you are seated the vast menu is mouth watering. I've tried various dishes from old favourites like a Chicken Tikka Masala to new experiences from the specials and chef's choice menu.At Chilli you are not rushed and you will not leave disappointed.
