Personal Profile

I am a professional outdoor pursuit's instructor, and have been so for the last eight years.

I regularly instruct a wide range of activities including; climbing, abseiling, kayaking, mountain biking, gorge walking, mining, hill walking, orienteering and problem solving. I work with a wide range of client groups including children from primary to secondary, independent schools to youth groups from the probation service, and adult corporate training and skills courses.

I have over 20 years climbing and mountaineering experience. I undertake regular Alpine trips and visits to other climbing areas. I am also an active member of South Snowdonia Search and Rescue Team.

Since January I have been self employed working on a freelance basis for a variety of local Outdoor Pursuits centers, and taking private clients Mountaineering and hill walking

Previously to becoming self employed I was the Chief Instructor, Fairbourne Adventure [1997-2002] and Senior Instructor, Mendip Outdoor Pursuits [1995-96].

All this means that if you wish to hire me you are tapping into a wealth of climbing and mountaineering experience. I can help you and your friends develop a wide range of skills that will enable you to enjoy the hills and mountains even more.
