About me

I completed my training with aromatherapy and massage in 1994 and on-site massage (seated chair massage) two years later. I started working at a centre for people with alcohol addictions and related problems using aromatherapy to reduce stress and to increase well-being.

Since 1998 I have also been using therapeutic touch and massage with people with dementia in 3 care homes in Bedford.

Wishing to add to my client base I specialised in Infant Massage working with post-natal mothers.

In 2005 I qualified as a Quantum Touch practitioner (a new and exciting energy healing technique) and this has greatly increased the effectiveness of all my touch therapies.

In addition I have just trained in Thai Foot Massage and Oriental Face Massage which have been very well received.

After 12 years of practise I feel that I am able to offer a powerful healing touch experience.

Massage treatments

How would you like to a experience a unique and excellent new type of massage? I can easily relax and release stress and tension from knotted muscles by providing a deep tissue massage with my amazing and improved massage technique, Bamboo Massage. With the aid of bamboo stalks of various lengths and diameters, I can work with a deep or light pressure, leaving you feeling relaxed and uplifted. Or you could have aromatherapy, with a session of massage and healing. I offer one hour sessions of Quantum Aromatherapy, Bamboo Massage, Oriental Face Massage, Thai Foot Massage, Back Massage on an on-site massage chair, or chose a combination of treatments!

Specialist Services

I use an energy healing technique called Quantum-Touch, which is fairly new to the UK, and I combine this with my other therapies - Aromatherapy, Oriental Face Massage and Thai Foot Massage, to enhance the treatment.

Although I work from a therapy centre, I teach baby massage to groups of mothers in their own homes, days and times to fit in with them. There is a free aromatherapy back massage session for the mum that hosts the class.

This is a technique that incorporates bamboo stalks of varying lengths and diameters to provide deep-tissue work.

Quantum-Touch® 1-hour treatment

New to the UK, Quantum-Touch® is a powerful healing technique that can profoundly accelerate the body's own healing response. The body has an extraordinary ability to heal itself & Quantum-Touch® helps to activate this process by using life force energy.

It works very well with physical and emotional issues, and is especially good at relieving pain, inflammation and tension.

I concentrate on the area of pain or trauma by gently placing my hands. It is usually combined with the other therapies that I offer.

Quantum Aromatherapy (combined with Quantum-Touch®) 1-hour treatmen

Using essential oils, combined with massage to treat the whole person - mind, emotions, body and spirit, this massage is tailored to the needs of the individual, releasing physical and mental tension and detoxifying the body. It helps to dissolve deep-seated pain and balance the energy centres. (A massage chair or bed is used for this).

It is a gentle and relaxing treatment, perfect to help you feel pampered and stress-free.

Oriental Face Massage 1-hour treatment

This involves the use of facial massage techniques, to act as a natural face-lift. It is a unique blend of highly effective techniques from Indian Face Massage (facial rejuvenation) with complementary techniques from Japanese facial massage. Without the need for surgery, look and feel younger, refreshed, relaxed and nurtured!

Thai Foot Massage 1-hour treatment

The ultimate therapeutic massage for feet, legs and hands, excellent for relieving stress and promoting relaxation. Also great for general well-being.

This relaxing, yet highly effective massage has been practised in Thailand for over 3,000 years.

Infant Massage

Mums (and dads) massage their babies whilst being guided through a step-by-step massage routine, which uses a carefully balanced combination of Swedish, Indian and Reflexology techniques.

Every parent receives individual attention to any special needs and guidance is provided on how massage can be adapted to the growing child.
