Four Generations Of Antique Restoration.

My great grandfather, grandfather and my father were all street traders in London, mainly chair caning, china riveting and carpet and rug repairs, on site and under street gas lamps at night. In 1968 these skills were passed onto me at the age of 13. With this fantastic experience and another 5 years working as an apprentice to a master upholsterer I embarked on my own venture setting up Christy Antiques Restoration in 1989.
