Chycara offers bed & breakfast and self catering lodges, with extensive leisure facilities, set in 16 acres of picturesque gardens and woodland, this is an oasis in which to relax.

It is close to Truro and the main line station from Paddington. Newquay airport is about a half hour drive away.

Chycara is an ideal place for exploring the many famous gardens, beautiful coastline and other attractions. The Bissoe cycle path, linking both coasts is on our doorstop.

Chycara offers bed & breakfast and self catering lodges, with extensive leisure facilities, which include an indoor swimming pool, hot tub & sauna, and an outdoor tennis court. Set in 16 acres of outstanding picturesque gardens and woodland, in an area of nature conservation importance, this is an oasis in which to relax. We are open all year around.

Chycara leisure facilities include a tennis court, swimming pool with changing facilities and showers, hot tub and sauna. Please note that these facilities are used for swimming classes at certain times during term times.
Killiow Golf Course is about a mile away. As well as the walks in our gardens, there are numerous public footpaths and bridleways adjacent to Chycara and the Bissoe Tramway Cycle Track & Bike Hire centre is close by.
In addition to the leisure facilities at Chycara there are local services on site which many of our guests have come to enjoy during their stay with us. These include massage and beauty treatments provided by the Moontree Clinic; Hypnotherapy, Life Coaching and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) with Julia MacDonald then there is Homeopathy and Jin Shin Jyutsu by Peter Smith, all of which may be booked independently of Chycara.

There are pubs in nearby Devoran and Perranwell both of which serve good food, and further facilities in Carnon Downs and Penelewey.

Chycara is an ideal place for exploring Cornwall. Within easy reach are the many famous Cornish gardens, our beautiful coastline and other famous attractions like the Eden Project or the Artist's resort St Ives.
Chycara is close to Truro and the main line station from Paddington. Newquay airport is about a half hour drive and arrangements can be made to pick up visitors from the airport or station.
