Cim Associates UK Ltd Managing Director Ian Meredith has been working in health and safety since 1988. Starting provisionally as a safety rep in a large commercial garage. He then moved on and became a Regional Safety Manager for an Aviation Ground Handling Company. He looked after six UK and four European airport ground handling operations.
During this time he was attributed to completing jointly with the HSE Musculoskeletal ill-health risks for airport baggage handlers and co-ordination of the first methane powered bus on a UK airport.
Then as a UK and overseas compliance manager for a large facilities Management Company, won the ROSPA gold award 3 years in succession for the company, with robust management, and development of safety systems.
He then went on to provide a supply chain management integration taking 50% of costs out of the business and aligned contractors and subcontractors safety systems. After this success Ian Meredith built Cim Associates in 2002 and was established as a Limited company in 2009.
