DO NOT USE! Cowboys with more excuses than fences!

These guys came and did my fence last October. I chose them as they were the friendliest people when they came to assess what I was after, and they seemed to offer a few helpful suggestions. They weren't the cheapest either, which I took as a sign that they weren't cowboys - how wrong I was. When they came and did the work they were late to turn up on the days, they made a horrible mess of the grass, they couldn't source enough wood for the job "as their supplier let them down". I admit this is half my fault as I was very naïve, they asked for 1/2 the cash so they could go buy more wood (I'm an idiot I know). The quality of the work is terrible with loads of gaps in the fencing and the overall look is not what I was expecting. A few months later and a gust of wind has managed to unsettle an entire side of the fence, so much so it now waves in the wind. They are impossible to get in contact with, when you do speak to them you get a hundred different excuses "I have lots of different businesses", "I'm rarely in the country", "I don't work for the company anymore", "I don't own the company anymore", "I don't have contact details of the new owner" etc etc etc. They avoid contact like the plague and have blamed the fact that the fence is now wobbling (caused by too short a post, a dodgy wall construction and general awful workmanship) on the neighbours Jack Russell – I would laugh but am too angry. Don't make the same mistake I made, avoid these guys as it will just cost you more money to get another company to come and tidy up their work!
