Don't believe their promises - it's lies

Ken Wells came out to quote for our job - to ensure he got it spot on - he got his partner to come out and ensure his quote was accurate. Yes, they were expensive but they promised to deliver a first rate service. We apparently had nothing to worry about - Ken guaranteed that everything would be taken care of. We were taken in by his confident spiel and agreed to their quote. Having now taken the trouble to clear out the rooms that would be affected by the work and dispose of affected furniture - Ken has now contacted us to tell us that they would be unable to take on the work. My wife asked if he could suggest any other tradesman who could take on the work (as they say on their website) Well guess what - no. Everyone else was too busy in his list of approved tradesman. Desperately disappointed - they are no better than every other tradesman who promise good service and then just aren't interested in delivering. For Gods sake - if you don't want the job - just say so!!
