I wish I had seen all the reviews about this place before I bought my corsa. After 8 months the heating fan still doesn't work, needs new shock absorber, something wrong with the electrics and was sold it with bold tyres. Had to trade it in for a car that works it's spent more time in the garage than on the road. 1 owner Arnold clerk

Cleckheaton Motor Sales LTD Marsh Works Dewsbury Road, Cleckheaton, BD19 5BT Avoid! fellow car buyers they will not call you back, not speak on the phone and ignore your emails. Not the behaviour of trustworthy car salesmen, find a car somewhere else!!!!!!!!! Bought a 2008 VW Passat estate, full service history and timing belt done, no dents no scratches, 1 owner (found out after it was home - Hertz car and van Hire !!!!!!!!!!) Avoid! Took the car the a test dive it drove lovely, the body work was not dent or scratch free, I owner (ask who Hertz car and van Hire, ) , full service (ask for proof) , cam belt done (ask for proof) and 100,000 miles (check it) , what's not to like met Paul and James both seemed like nice honest men until the sale was completed. Paul afford me little for my car a Y reg VW Passat estate with one months mot and less in tax, it was old but reliable, (buying another VW the same but newer!). Offered £300 as It was or £500 with full MOT, I said I would take it away and get it MOT Paul took his offer back, so it was £300 or nothing, the Blue motion VW passat with full service history and cam belt done, 2008 for £4000, I was cheesed of it was not dent free but accepted a metal trip damaged and a scuff, close enough, paid in full via credit card thank god. It came with a full MOT they would need it for a week, fine I still had my perfectly functioning VW. On collection I met up with James, and we did the paperwork, as it was all paid up. New second hand car, handed over my old VW passat keys to get my newer VW passat keys, myself and partner had a quick look around and we found a few more scuffs but maybe we just didn't check properly, a concrete scuff at the front, concrete still stuck to the paint. began to drive home within a few minutes “service now” indicator on the computer dash , it must be a mistake as I pulled over to check the book finding a 95600 entry and a “VW specialist stamp” in the service book, in all honesty I did not notice the missing date, address or telephone number, nor missing invoice number, basically just a stamp and a mileage. Got home as you do but its was not taxes so could not go far, tax just 5 days away before a new month and the DVLA are stealing months from car exchange drivers and selling the same month on the next car, a real rape by the DVLA, Next day organising roof rails and tow bar fitting, walked out into the sun to find more dents, more scuffs, bonnet not in line with the body, stiff to open, In all truth I did not open the bonnet on collection why would you its just been MOTd. Started it up and “service now”. To save you reading my life story, basically the Cambet was not done, and the service not done, and the service book was fraudulent, I took the book to the VW dealer, it turns out the stamp could be any garage, stamp and entry clearly a deception, a con! I emailed Cleckheaton Motor Sales LTD Marsh Works Dewsbury Road, Cleckheaton, BD19 5BT - no response- phoned them got a bad attitude – on the call I asked James if he got my email, I said please can you read my email and respond, still not response. The cam belt needs doing now and service now costing around £600, plus my car being off the road, all this work was included in the sale, and thankfully I took a copy of the Auto trader advert shows what was included in the sale, they must have taken it offline immediately, thank got I printed it. This is not just miss sell its plain deception and fraud. There not responding, there have been offered the opportunity to do the service and cam belt, and sort out the bonnet but no response so the other reviews are true, these guys are dodgy. Oh forgot to say the advert 100,000 car when I picked it up had 101,600. So if your stupid enough to buy here take down your mileage if they keep the car for MOT. Thankfully October 15 the law changed and we have 30 days to get a refund, this is clearly under mis sold as a polite label. I can contact the trading standards, report this to the police. I will not call them again, letter via post and email two letters including the 30 day refund letter. Shame as it look like a lovely car but without the work included in the sale it not workable as the car would cost £4600. Do not trust these guys, to many problem to be just a mistake, no responce once they have the sale. Oh if you pay by credit card you can ask them the CC company to get your money back. I feel stupid I should not have been so trusting, thankfully the law is behind me. Don’t give up if your have a problem here, if there rude don’t call them again if they don’t respond go around them, police, Trading standards, and the 30 day law letter all by recorded delivery as if there not responding to email they will pretend they did not get your letter. Its costly but necessary. Its OK guys I will get my money back plus compensation via the country court, you guys should settle with me quickly as each passing moment I am online spreading the word that Cleckheaton Motor Sales LTD Marsh Works Dewsbury Road, Cleckheaton, BD19 5BT if you have problem you really will regret buying here.
