This is a great place to be based for visiting Perthshire and discovering Central Scotland. In 10 minutes you can be in the hills, in 30 minutes you can be at Stirling Castle, in an hour you can be in Edinburgh, Glasgow or on St Andrews beach. Or you can just sit and admire the sweeping southerly views from the Cottages.
There is a huge range of things to see and do in Perthshire, with its rich legacy of castles, churches, battlefields and historic sites. It is a wonderful place for hill walking, whether you are a beginner or a real stalwart. There are countless different craft industries, making everything from whisky to glass paperweights, which can all be visited and sampled.
Golfers will appreciate the 37 golf courses within Perthshire itself. The modest green fees and the discovery that most courses are quiet, even in summer often pleasantly surprise our visitors.
Looking further afield, day trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow, St Andrews, Loch Ness and Glencoe are popular with all our visitors, many of whom return to visit us again.
Each cottage sleeps up to four in one double and one twin bedroom. The twin bedrooms vary between stacked and de-stacked bunks. The bedding is continental quilts, sheets, pillows and blankets, and is included in the price.
The kitchens have electric cooking and come with the usual full range of equipment, including a fridge, microwave and automatic washing machine.
All cottages have full oil-fired central heating and hot water. There is always coal available for the open fires in the living rooms. TVs have "Freeview" and a DVD player. Each cottage has a telephone.
Free Wireless Broadband is provided.
